Here’s a quick review.

Hear the Gospel
-
Recognize that they’re a sinner
-
Ask Jesus to forgive them
-
Accept Christ as their Savior

That’s all that there is to being saved. Other than accept Christ work, you can do nothing to save oneself. Once one has accepted Christ as their Savior:
-
-
-
Get baptized
-
Get your relationship with God going by studying
-
Get involved in a church (don’t just go)

You might conclude that at times I am beating up on the local churches. And you would be right. I have had some discussions with people and many also believe that I am being very hard on them. I am not Christ and am not judging His Church, I am making grounded observations and encouraging those looking for a church to not fall victim to a stale or unresponsive church by not researching or investigating the church thoroughly. It is very difficult to get out of a church that doesn’t meet your needs when you are friends with, or believe that you are friends with, people in that congregation. Worse than disappointment of months or years frustration, is that likely, you will have not grown spiritually during that time nor effectively served.
A person reading these articles has been told how to be saved and what to do when they get saved. It is your responsibility to grow and hopefully, when you stand in front of Christ, you won’t be ashamed because you pursued your full potential.
Thank you for visiting my web site. I pray that it has benefited you in your understanding of the Creation and Evolution debate but especially your relationship with Jesus Christ.
God Bless.
