Is this another example of God changing?  In 2 Chronicles 33:1–18, God had brought the Assyrians to Judah and Jerusalem to carry away the Israelites away as punishment for their sins as Manasseh King of Judah had led them astray.

Jerusalem feel and the Israelites were led away, Manasseh with a hook in his nose (an ultimate humiliation).  As they exited Judah, Manasseh repented and prayed to God, who was moved by plea and humility.  So God brought him and the Israelites back to the land.

Surely this is a clear violation of God’s attributes; Him not being changeable.

I will wait a few days before giving my opinion on the topic.
