This last one is a doosy. And my original answer is quite lengthy. Perhaps, I’ll be able to shorten it in the future but as it is it is a good history lesson.
The questioner states, Revelation 21:8 “liars–their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” Eternal damnation for lying? In South Africa murderers and rapists often get released for good behavior, lying is politics.

Here we have the individual stating he doesn’t like the punishment that God has promised, eternal damnation. Maybe the individual is toning down their rhetoric as they do not make a harsh accusation of wrong doing on God’s part. Perhaps, the individual sees their self as a liar and knows this is what their fate is. So instead of changing their ways, repenting, they are appealing to God to make the punishment less. Something equal to that of what the individual equates is a far more heinous crime but results in a far less punishment.
The individual has chosen a verse that should be very frightening and sobering to anyone that reads this passage. The induvial may be indicating that yes, we humans are not fair. Murder and rapists getting released without much punishment. Lying is accepted everywhere and is essentially encouraged by our politicians in the individuals way of thinking.
These aren’t fit punishments according to a sane person. Lying is wrong, even if some endorse it. The individual knows this. But the individual’s statement suggests that he knows God knows what is right and wrong. And that God has the right to exact punishment. The individual is just disagreeing with the severity of the punishment.
Note again, that the individual is complaining about the punishment. But the individual has already found themselves guilty as well and placed themselves in hell. If the induvial has the opportunity to read my responses to their previous 13 accusations, they would see in several of them that God demonstrates grace, compassion, repentance and forgiveness and reunification to Himself.
His tone in number 14 sound so much different than in the first 13. There the individual sounded angry and rebellious. They were picking a fight with God. I myself accused the individual of not having searched the scriptures and doing the proper homework. Perhaps I miss calculated the condition the individual was/is in and the former, though accusatory and provoking, was really a cry of frustration that they didn’t understand and couldn’t find the answers. Maybe no one was able to help the individual when they seeked council.
But the tone in number 14 seems different to me. I think the individual got their frustrations out of their system and actually communicated something that someone could work with. Perhaps this individual actually gave up and sees himself guilty. Perhaps they see themselves lost and doomed for damnation. Perhaps they don’t know that all they have to do is believe. Accept Jesus Christ. Submit to God. And then study the word to see what it is that God wants from them. Serve with a congregation. Spread the good news where ever they may go.
Then eternal life is there’s. Eternity away from the death, diseases, pain an suffering.
